INNISFIL, ON – 3rd Annual Radiant Roots – Black Cultural Expo, a Celebration of Black Heritage, Diversity, and Community

Making Change, a Black-led non-profi t community organization committed to fostering diversity and inclusion, is excited to bring back Radiant Roots – A Black Cultural Expo for its 3rd year. This dynamic event will take place on Saturday, February 28, at the Innisfi l ideaLAB & Library from 10 AM to 3 PM (967 Innisfi l Beach Rd).

Radiant Roots—A Black Cultural Expo promises to be an enriching celebration of heritage, diversity, and community spirit. Attendees can expect a day featuring captivating music, culturally diverse vendors, engaging speakers, and family-friendly crafts and activities, including a cultural Fashion Show celebrating Pan-African styles. The Expo will feature Black-owned businesses where everyone can purchase an assortment of art, crafts, accessories, cuisine, and other cultural treasures; there will be something for everyone to enjoy and learn from.

This expo will showcase the richness of Black culture while fostering connections and understanding among all members of our community. “There was a wonderful sense of community at this event”, said one vendor, while others shared, “A highlight was the Pan-African Fashion Show”.
