Making Change Presents: Radiant Roots – Black Cultural Expo, A Celebration of Heritage, Diversity, and Community
Making Change, a non-profit community organization committed to fostering diversity and inclusion, is excited to bring back Radiant Roots – A Black Cultural Expo. This dynamic event will take place on Saturday, March 1, at the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library from 10 AM to 3 PM (967 Innisfil Beach Rd).
Radiant Roots—A Black Cultural Expo promises to be an enriching celebration of heritage, diversity, and community spirit. Attendees can anticipate a day fi lled with captivating music, culturally diverse vendors, engaging speakers, and family-friendly crafts and activities, including a cultural Fashion Show celebrating Pan-African styles. The Expo will feature Black-owned businesses where everyone can purchase an assortment of art, crafts, accessories, cuisine, and other cultural treasures; there will be something for everyone to enjoy and learn from.
This expo will showcase the richness of Black culture while fostering connections and understanding among all members of our community. “There was a wonderful sense of community at this event”, said one vendor, while others shared, “A highlight was the Pan-African Fashion Show”.
