Making Change
The time for change is now, and change starts with you, in your home and in your community. Understanding what anti-Black racism is, how it manifests, and how your employees and teams or community members can begin a journey to change is where we come in. Then, we are here to continue to guide your transition to action along the learning journey. Sessions are being provided VIRTUALLY, except by special arrangement. Since 2020, our many clients have told us how valuable our sessions and ongoing coaching have been in guiding them along their organizational learning journey to inclusion. Starting the Conversation - If Nothing Changes, Nothing Changes
This Making Change presentation will spark conversations and discussions around diversity and inclusion. Through sharing their lived experiences as Black women, Making Change presenters bring a conversation about how building inclusion is a lifelong journey. They will reflect on why Making Change was launched and detail their community work. Meant to move the conversation forward and being mindful of the sensitive nature of the discussion, they share perspectives and suggestions on becoming an ally and doing self-work around anti-Black racism. A question and answer opportunity will close out the session.
Our one (1) hour presentation overview:
- A local overview of the BLM movement vs a moment
- Our lived experiences as Black women
- Insights into the creation of Making Change, our goals and the community work we do
- How individuals can become allies and do self-work around anti-Black racism

Moving Towards Allyship Series:
Intended for the community, parents and staff, this session will spark conversations and discussions around diversity and inclusion from the school community perspective. Through sharing their lived experiences as Black women and parents, Making Change presenters bring a conversation about how building inclusion is a lifelong journey. Meant to move the conversation forward and being mindful of the sensitive nature of the discussion, they share perspectives on how to move towards allyship with suggestions on becoming an ally and doing self-work around anti-Black racism. Full of practical ideas and resources, this interactive session encourages participants to take action to dismantle anti-Black racism. A question and answer opportunity will close out the session.

Moving Towards Allyship in our Schools – intended for parents, guardians and educators, how is anti-Black racism is showing up in our schools.
Moving Towards Allyship in Healthcare – intended for those working in healthcare whether as frontline staff or in the community, to get a better understanding how biases are affecting how people receive proper health care.
Panelists – needing a panelist that can provide a Black-lived experience to an event. Are you hosting a workshop or event with a focus on diversity & inclusion or community-driven allyship, consider one of our presenters.
Mosaic of Black Canadian Culture: Take a tour through Black Canadian History with our Mosaic presentation. This family friendly session will share an engaging overview of Simcoe County Black history as we have so much rich history right here in our own backyard. Discover sites of interest from settlements, museums and how this area played a vital role in the Underground Railroad. We end this presentation with a call to action on becoming a family of allies.
